NMZS10 - NICHOLAS MILLS + ZANE SAUNDERS

Nicholas Mills and Zane Saunders have long and diverse careers across the arts in Far North Queensland, and in 2010 they launched their dual-exhibition at the Old Hrvatski Klub Artspace (old Croation Club).

The former club-house has been adapted into artist studio’s and media space, that allowed the 2 practitioners the opportunity to centralise their production outputs, from incubation to presentation.

They launched their first exhibition event, NMZS10, will a variety of new art works and assorted curiosities. This opening also launched the 'Old Hrvatski Club Artspace', (which would later re-brand into Arthouse).

While both artists have strong contemporary outputs, (in performance, sound, screen and installation) they both come from strong visual arts backgrounds, and presented both visual works and media/performance works.
