SUB-MERGE

Sub-Merge is a program dedicated to diverse experimental work, with a focus on performance, sound and media. The program has evolved and re-ermerged on a needs basis, and has utilised many non-traditional and re-purposed spaces, over some 15 + years.

It aims to present new works, works in progress, showings, readings or improvisations that honour diverse forms, whilst binding through use of space.

Curated and produced by Nicholas, Sub-Merge has utilised spaces such as crate59 gallery, Screen Culture Club,  Arthouse and now, By Appointment Artspace.

Sub-Merge was recently (Sept 25) produced at crate59, as part of Cairns Festivals Reef City music program. This program was co-curated with artist Doula, and presented a combined program of performance, noise, movement and sound.
